Tracey Concrete’s new precast shaft segments provide a robust, consistent solution for tunnelling and underground construction projects where structural performance, durability and efficient installation are key.

Designed by Gall Zeidler Consultants using Herrenknecht formwork moulds, the segments are manufactured in Tracey Concrete’s state-of-the-art, purpose-built facilities, with the design and manufacturing process aimed at exceeding the requirements of the British Tunnelling Society (BTS) and ICE Specification for Tunnelling, Fourth Edition (2023).

Each precast concrete shaft segment is manufactured to deliver consistent quality and dimensional accuracy, helping achieve optimum alignment and fit during installation.
